In an effort to bring spiritual nourishment to underprivileged Christian families, the outreach team of BACA embarked on a mission on March 9h, 2024. Their destination: brick kiln No.12 Joyanwala Mor and Soki Maliyan in Sheikhupura. These areas are home to a significant number of Christians who toil in brick kilns, factories, or on the lands of Muslim landlords, often enduring harsh working conditions. For many, access to the Word of God is a rare luxury, with their spiritual sustenance largely dependent on occasional visits by volunteer evangelists like Faisal Hadayat.
Evangelist Faisal Hadayat, having observed the dire need for Bibles among the Christian families of brick kiln No.12 and Soki Maliyan, approached BACA in March. He highlighted the lack of access to printed and audio Bibles, urging for support to address this fundamental need for his ministry.
Responding to this call, BACA’s outreach team distributed 30 printed and 15 audio Bibles to families in these communities. For these families, the provision of Bibles was not merely a gift but a beacon of hope, a source of spiritual nourishment in their otherwise challenging lives. Many of them lacked the financial means to procure Bibles on their own, making this gesture all the more significant.

For Zaigham, this moment was not just about acquiring a book; it was about reclaiming a sense of ownership over his spiritual journey. Previously, he had relied on his uncle’s Bible for his readings, longing for a copy to call his own. Now, holding the Bible in his hands, Zaigham made a heartfelt promise to himself and his family: he would diligently read from the Bible every day.

As Zohaib embraces this role as a spiritual leader within his family, he is guided by the conviction that their shared devotion to the Bible will strengthen their bond and bring them closer to the divine. With humility and gratitude, he welcomes the opportunity to be a conduit for God’s grace, confident in the transformative power of His Word.
The impact of BACA’s Bible distribution project extends beyond mere provision; it represents a lifeline for families thirsty for spiritual sustenance. Pastor Faisal Hadayat commends BACA’s efforts and underscores the ongoing need for Bible distribution among brick kiln workers in Sheikhupura. For him, the Bible is not a privilege but a right that should be accessible to all who seek it.
As these families embrace the Word of God, their lives are enriched, their spirits uplifted, and their communities transformed. Through initiatives like BACA’s, the light of hope continues to shine in even the darkest corners, illuminating hearts and minds with the timeless wisdom of Scripture.
Every year, BACA distributes audio Bibles and printed copies to underprivileged Christians many who, due to their circumstances, are unable to read. These individuals often reside in areas devoid of churches, relying on the occasional visit from a pastor funded by BACA or other organisations, to receive a sermon and comprehend the Gospel. Procuring Bibles for these visits is a costly endeavor; our audio Bibles amount to £30 each, while each printed Bible costs £6. By contributing to our Pakistan fund, you play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous sharing of the transformative message of peace and hope found in the Gospel of Christ. Your donation can make a lasting impact, helping us reach and bless many faithful Christians. To support this cause, kindly donate (here).
